When I was a little girl, we would go and play at the beach and make sandcastles in Alicante, Spain. My mom would start to tell us stories of Beirut. She would say that it’s across the Mediterranean, it is right after the horizon, it is wounded, and one day when she will feel better, we will go there. This was my mindset growing up.

Medium: Limited print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag archival paper 301g/sqm, using Epson Ultra Chrome archival pigment inks in conformity with archival museum standards. Edition of 5 plus 2 AP.
