Hrair Diarbekirian is seen as an established Lebanese Postwar & Contemporary artist. Hrair has gained fame and success for his unique works and exuberant personality. In the late 1960s, to own a Hrair became a symbol of prestige in Beirut, and subsequently his paintings have been purchased by such royal figures as Queen Elizabeth the 2nd of England and King Fahad Bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.
