Born in 1958 in Beirut, Lebanon, Samir Tamari began drawing and painting at the age of seven. He then pursued studies in Art and Advertising Techniques in Montreal, Canada. It is in his beautiful hometown of Saghbine, in the West Bekaa, that he used to spend his summers, which eventually influenced his creative vision and strengthened his affinities with colors and shapes. His compositions are based in the figurative and abstract styles the artist currently lives and works in Beirut, and his most recent exhibition took place in Beirut, in June 2017.
